Welcome to the Melbourne suburb where even residents cannot agree on its pronunciation. 

Reservoir – do you say Res-o-voar or Res-o-vwah?

3AW Drive visited the northern suburb this week for weekly segment Your Town, and found locals are divided about how its pronounced.

And judging by callers during the program, so are 3AW listeners.

Aside from that, most people agree Reservoir is in need of a facelift, particularly Broadway. 

Sara Consiglio, co-owner of Il Pasticcino bakery, said a makeover would be welcome as the area looked a little tired.
