3AW Drive visited Rowville on Wednesday.

It’s a suburb crying out for better public transport.

And a place where you can find kangaroos and foxes in broad daylight.

Rowvillian of 20 years Steve Mastos told Tom Elliott it’s a great area to live.

‘There’s lots of space. I’ve got four golf courses at my doorstep,’ he said.

But he said he feels let down after numerous promises for a rail line to Rowville have gone unfulfilled.

‘Every politician promises they’ll do something about it.’
