RUMOUR CONFIRMED

He says his mother was driving a white Volkswagen on Harrington Drive at Narre Warren about 9PM last night when about three youths in a car ‘bumped’ her vehicle from behind to make her stop.

One of the youths then put what appeared to be a gun to the victim’s head and demanded her car keys.

In shock, she reacted slowly and paid the price by being hit in the face with the gun.

“They then pushed her around trying to get the keys off her,” Jag told Ross and John.

Once the youths took the keys, they drove off with her car.

Jag said his mum has been left with physical and mental scarring.

“She’s obviously shaken up, there’s a bit of paranoia there,” he said.

“She’s been hit with a metal object to the face, it’s obviously going to cause some cuts and bruising.

“But I think she’s obviously concerned about getting back into the car; she’s going to have some flashbacks I think.”

Anyone who witnessed the attack or has seen a VW Golf with registration BO-55 should come forward to police.

The victim has described the alleged perpetrators as of African appearance, against between 17 and 25.

The disturbing incident was first reported on the Rumour File.
