‘You’ve been banned’: Jacqui Felgate weighs in on Federation Square World Cup snub
Federation Square will not show any Socceroos matches on its big screen during next month’s FIFA World Cup, due to wild celebrations and unruly behaviour in previous years.
And Jacqui Felgate can understand why soccer fans are annoyed today.
“You can blow up a business in Melbourne, but if you want to watch the soccer now, you can’t,” the 3AW Drive host said.

“We would get nothing done in this state if we continue to kowtow to the angry minority, instead of the majority who are behaving!” Felgate said.
Former Socceroo, Craig Foster, is hoping the decision is overturned.
“It’s just crazy stuff, these are some of the best moments that we experience as a country together,” Foster said on 3AW Drive.
