Zachary Bryant named as three-month-old boy killed in Bourke Street attack

The latest victim to be named in the wake of Friday’s deadly Bourke Street attack is also the youngest – three-month-old Zachary Bryant.

Matthew and Nawwar Bryant have released a statement expressing their heartbreak.

Their two-year-old daughter Zara survived the attack and is in stable condition, but her baby brother, Zachary, didn’t make it.

The parents say Zachary was the perfect little baby ‘we were so lucky to be gifted with.’

Zachary is the fourth victim to be named.

The others are 10-year-old Thalia Hakin, 33-year-old Matthew Si and 22-year-old Jess Mudie.

A 25-year-old Japanese national is understood to the be fifth victim.
