Matthew Lloyd says the premiership door is “just about closing” on the Brisbane Lions, after their poor start to the season.

Lloyd said his respect for the Lions went “through the roof” after last year’s grand final, but after starting the season with two wins and five losses, Lloyd says he’s “lost faith”.

But there is one current head coach which if he was coaching instead of Chris Fagan, might make him reconsider his position on the Lions.
