Cal Twomey reveals new frontrunner for Essendon coaching role

Cal Twomey has revealed that Essendon president Andrew Welsh could be endorsing interm coach Dean Solomon to take the full-time role at the Bombers.
The closeness of the president and interm coach could threaten the potential of James Hird returning to the role if Solomon wanted to coach in 2027.
“The club position is that they’ll still be a process,” Twomey said on 3AW Football.
