Inside midfielder Lachie Sullivan will make his AFL debut for Collingwood against Carlton this weekend, continuing a remarkable journey to reach highest level of the game.

Sullivan, who was signed by the Pies as a 26-year-old supplementary selection player, only joined the club 10 weeks ago after he starred in the VFL for the Footscray Bulldogs.

Sports reporter Jon Anderson opened up on his personal connection to Sullivan, having watched him since he was a junior footballer.
