3AW Football’s Abbie McKay named Carlton AFLW captain

3AW Football’s own Abbie McKay has been named Carlton captain for the upcoming AFLW season.

After making history by becoming the AFLW’s first father-daughter recruit, she will follow in the footsteps of her father and premiership player Andrew McKay in captaining Carlton.

Speaking on Wide World of Sports, McKay said she would bring her own captaincy style to the role.
