The award is named after him, so the Sportsday crew figured it’d only make sense to ask Leigh Matthews who he’d award the 2020 AFL Most Valuable Player Award.

Unsurprisingly, raging hot Brownlow Medal favourite Lachie Neale from the Brisbane Lions was his selection.
