Leigh Matthews says Sydney, Melbourne and Gold Coast look like they’ll have better seasons than he expected.

But he says he no longer sees Geelong as the premiership favourite after a sluggish start.

The AFL great listed three clubs that had exceeded his expectations so far and three clubs who’d left him wanting more after two rounds.
