Fremantle’s Sam Switkowski has been charged with “serious misconduct” following a clash with Collingwood’s Jack Ginnivan on Sunday.

He’s been sent straight to the tribunal and cannot accept an early plea.

The incident happened in the last quarter of Sunday’s clash at Optus Stadium.

The Pies won by 36 points.

“It’s going to be hard one for him to get around,” Matthew Lloyd said in response to the news on Monday.
