Warning from the SES after yesterday’s wild weather

Tom Elliott

The State Emergency Service is urging motorists to take care today after wild weather saw 800 requests for assistance for fallen trees yesterday.

SES chief officer Tim Wiebusch says there’s still a risk in heavily-treed areas.

“We’re still alerting motorists to be particularly cautious on roads in heavily treed areas,” he told Neil Mitchell.
