One of the men who was in the mix to be Collingwood’s new captain has explained why he voted for Darcy Moore to lead the club this year.

Moore has taken on the role from Scott Pendlebury, who recently stood down as skipper.

Taylor Adams told 3AW’s Wide World Of Sports Moore had been almost the “perfect character” since he’d arrived at the club.
