Essendon star Jordan Ridley says he’s loving life under new coach Brad Scott, telling 3AW a simple approach and encouragement to “play to your strengths” had played a part in the Bombers’ strong start to the season.

Essendon has won three of its first four games and sits fourth on the ladder.

“I think it really gives you a clear formula, as a player, of what you want to go out and execute and the way you want games to look for yourself,” Ridley said.
