It’s been a less than ideal build up to Brodie Grundy’s first game for Sydney, according to Sam McClure.

The new Swans recruit has arrived in Sydney with plenty of fanfare, but copped an unwanted setback while swimming just hours before the season opener.

“It appears that Brodie Grundy has been stung on the back of his ear by a bluebottle jellyfish today while swimming in the ocean today,” he said on Wide World of Sports.
