Matthew Lloyd has stated Brisbane Lions co-captain Lachie Neale’s comments during the week on their loss to Carlton were “refreshing”.

The Lions blew a 46-point lead against the Blues and Neale was heavily critical of his side’s second half performance.

Lloyd played the comments from Neale as well as some comments from Lions coach Chris Fagan which went against what Lloyd thought.
