Eddie McGuire has shut down the idea from Sydney Swans President Andrew Pridham for a “best-of-three” grand final idea in the AFL.

McGuire said “everyone lost their minds” in 2010 after the drawn grand final when Collingwood and St Kilda and all the fans had to come back to the MCG the week after.

The former Collingwood president floated another idea for the finals series and explained to Tom Elliott why the MCG hosting the big game is so important.
