Essendon and Collingwood have played out a thrilling day on ANZAC Day, the first stalemate in this fixture since 1995.

Both sides had their chance to win the game in the see-sawing dying stages of the match, but there was one aspect of the game which Jimmy Bartel was especially happy with.

“There’s a big difference in your mindset between trying win and not lose.”
