Police have released an image of a man they’re searching for, after an elderly woman was knocked down by an e-scooter outside the MCG on Friday night.

The woman was struck from behind by the e-scooter, causing her to fall to the ground and lose consciousness.

The e-scooter rider was described as having a stocky build with fair skin, and was wearing distinctive, thick lensed glasses causing his eyes to appear magnified and a red jacket in shiny, waterproof material.
