Former North Melbourne player Tarryn Thomas has been charged with harassing a former partner.

The AFL then later confirmed he would be blocked from returning to a club until court proceedings have been completed.

Nine News reporter Laura Turner, who joined 3AW Drive from outside Thomas’ Ormond property, said neighbours witnessed the arrest on Tuesday morning.

“He’s clearly not in a position to make any comment on what’s happened,” she said on 3AW.
