Sam McClure and Matthew Richardson had a heated discussion on 3AW’s Wide World of Sports on Wednesday night over the circumstances surrounding Dustin Martin not playing this week.

Richmond stated Martin will be managed this week against Adelaide, with his 300th game to be played next week at the MCG against Hawthorn in front of the Tiger fans.

And Richo said be was a “little bit surprised” by McClure and Tony Shaw’s comments on Tuesday night surrounding the Richmond great.

“I didn’t hear you commenting when Tom Hawkins didn’t play up in Darwin a few weeks ago and then broke the record down in Geelong the very next week,” Richo said.
