Hawthorn premiership player speaks after being ‘killed off’ by AFL!

Hawthorn premiership player Michael Porter says she was shocked when he was included in the Australian Football Hall of Fame’s in memoriam segment despite still being very much alive.

Porter’s phone was lit up by worried friends when his named flashed up amongst footy figures who had passed away in the last 12 months.

He told Jimmy Bartel and Mark Allen on 3AW Breakfast the AFL called on Tuesday night, apologising for the error.

“It was a bit of a shock where I got a call from an old teammate,” Porter said on 3AW.
