Leigh Matthews has highlighted how the Western Bulldogs have found a “rare patch of form” heading into the back end of the season.

The Dogs have had a strong month, defeating top teams in Sydney, Carlton and Geelong, before smashing Melbourne last night at Marvel Stadium.

“They’re in really good shape the Bulldogs,” Matthews said.
