Clayton Oliver met with Geelong officials on Tuesday morning as speculation mounts about his future at Melbourne, according to 3AW newsbreaker Sam McClure.

Fresh on the back of McClure’s report on Monday night that Oliver felt undervalued at the Dees, the latest revelation comes just days before this year’s trade period opens.

The Wide World of Sports host told Tom Elliott the unfolding story around Oliver was becoming “pretty spicy”.

“I’m not sure how Melbourne supporters will react to this potential departure.”
