Sam McClure has asked Geelong’s General Manager of Football, Andrew Mackie, on the club attracting quality players from rival clubs.

It comes as the AFL conducts an audit into the club’s third-party player payments, with Jimmy Bartel also asking his former teammate if it’s all been tidied up.

“You’ve got to be in those conversations and keep looking around, our opposition are doing it so we’ve got to play with them,” Mackie said on Wide World of Sports.
