Matthew Lloyd has addressed the growing injury toll at Essendon, in what he’s described as a “horror year” for his former side.

The club great stated how Brad Scott is struggling to field a side at the moment, with Nic Martin and Will Setterfield the latest players to join the long-term injury list.

“The sooner this year comes to an end, the better it will be for the Bombers to start afresh next year,” Lloyd said on 3AW Drive.
