Essendon’s horror run with injuries in 2025 has led to the club parting ways with their fitness boss Sean Murphy.

On 3AW Football, Caroline Wilson revealed there was a review into the high performance department, which was carried out in April and May.

“Sean Murphy’s papers were marked quite a long time ago,” Wilson said on 3AW Football.

“My view is they probably know who they want and who they’re going to get.”
