The numbers behind the AFL’s fixture disaster
Caroline Wilson has unpacked the national viewing figures for marquee round 20 games amid further complaints on the league’s handling of the floating fixture.
Wilson took aim at Essendon and Carlton’s involvement in Friday and Saturday night games, questioning the decision-making process made six to eight weeks ago.
“The national average for Essendon Bulldogs was 453,000. That is a terrible number,” Wilson said on 3AW Football.
