Shane McInnes slammed the Tasmanian Planning Commission, which has rejected the idea of a new stadium for the incoming Tasmanian AFL team.

McInnes found the report an attempt to scare the Tasmanian people to prevent progress being made on the stadium.

“The idea that Tasmnia’s cultural heritage will be impacted by the stadium is greenie speak for we don’t want your stadium,” McInnes said on 3AW Football.

“That is grasping at straws to convince Tasmnians that the nasty mainlanders are trying to destroy their way of life.
