Matthew Lloyd has cast doubt on the amount of impact Christian Petracca has on games.

The gun Demon is currently angling for a move to Gold Coast, having met with the club in recent days.

Despite Petracca being in demand, Lloyd said his effectiveness in games has diminished since sustaining a sickening injury on King’s Birthday in 2023.

“I would think that Bailey Humphrey could potentially win more games for the Suns next year than Christian Petracca,” he said on the Trade Off podcast.

“I know that’s a big call.”
