As the trade period comes to a conclusion on Wednesday night, many star players are yet to find a new home, including star Carlton forward Charlie Curnow.

The Sydney Swans have offered pick 11, next year’s first pound pick, Will Hayward and Ollie Florent in exchange for Curnow and pick 22.

But Jimmy Bartel has highlighted another Swans player who would be a good fit for the Blues in the deal.

“I need good kicking, and we know Matt Roberts is a really good kick,” Bartel said.

“His name’s not being tabled, but that’s what I’d be looking for.”
