Jacqui Felgate has delivered a strong editorial after the “disgraceful” scenes in the CBD on Sunday, with violent clashes between protesters and police.

The 3AW Drive host gave a snapshot of the last few weeks in Melbourne, with the city rocked by stabbings, violent protests and a gun-wielding man wreaking havoc.

“Our most liveable, beautiful city destroyed, because of a lack of leadership from our leader,” Felgate said referring to Premier Jacinta Allan.

“I wish every day I didn’t need to sound like a broken record.

“As usual, it is the government that has let every Victorian down yet again.”

Caller Andrew was in the CBD yesterday, and witnessed the chaos unfold in front of him.
