A parent has blasted the response from the schools involved in a lockdown this morning in Berwick, after an 11-year-old stabbed an eight-year-old.

The victim escaped serious injury, with Brentwood Park Primary School and Kambrya College the schools placed into lockdown, but parent Steve said the response to the incident was “appalling”.

“It’s the downplaying of it … we require some sort of transparency here,” Steve told Jacqui Felgate.

Press PLAY to hear him blast the school responses (and also the aunty of one of the students from one of the schools)

“My poor sister-in-law has been feeling anxious all day,” Ivana, the aunty of one of the students at the school, said on 3AW Drive.
