VFA legend Phil Cleary has some strong comments to make, over the recent news that Channel Seven won’t broadcast the VFL for the upcoming season and beyond.

The Victorian football great highlighted the problems with the televising of the competition, and why he thinks the network “pulled the pin” on the league.

“You can’t masquerade as the biggest game in town and just call the game in the same way,” Cleary told Tony Moclair on 3AW Afternoons.
