Matthew Richardson has revealed who he thinks are the best five players in the competition ahead of the 2026 AFL season.

3AW host and football commentator Matt Granland also revealed his top five, with the Richmond great having a similar list.

“We’re thinking along the same lines in a lot of areas,” Richardson said on Wide World of Sports.
