Leigh Matthews and Caroline Wilson both see the Western Bulldogs in the box seat in season 2026 after a six-point win over Adelaide.

The win away from home proved to Lethal that the Dogs can stand up against fellow contenders.

“The Bulldogs have just jumped into it,” Matthews said on 3AW Football.

“Getting two wins away from home is an enormous plus, so I think the Bulldogs rightly would be the premiership favourites.”
