AFL stars go down as hamstring injury crisis continues
The AFL has experienced a hamstring crisis during round 2, with stars going down across the board.
Christian Petracca, Tom Lynch, and Callum Ah Chee are all headline players who have gone down with hamstring injuries, and Libby Birch sees the rule changes as a key reason as to why.
“It’s up to six or seven now in the past couple of days,” Birch said on 3AW Football.
“All the teams have played one to two games, and with the new rules, there has been a rapid increase in the amount of high-speed running.”
