Former Carlton captain Sam Docherty has unpacked the Blues’ latest setback, after getting overrun by Melbourne on Sunday afternoon.

Docherty had some insightful analysis into his former side, and brought up an alarming statistic which shows the difference between the Blues and the best sides in the competition.

“It highlights the importance of winning the contest for Carlton,” Docherty told Jimmy Bartel on Wide World of Sports.

“I think stress and pressure does huge things.”
