Laura Kane has joined 3AW Football and emphatically shut down the prospect of a state buying the hosting rights to the new play-in finals.

Kane insisted that those who finish seventh and eighth will host finals for the first week of finals.

“No, I’m not sure where that’s come from,” Kane said on 3AW Football.
