Former teammate of Elijah Hollands, Sam Docherty has reached out to the 23-year-old after Thursday night.

He has raised questions about how the club handled the worrying situation.

“It’s just a sad turn of events,” Docherty said on 3AW Football.

“The longer I go the more questions I start asking about how someone didn’t pick up on that earlier.”
