Another disappointing ANZAC Day defeat for Essendon on Saturday, going down by 77 points to Collingwood.

The questions still remain on their Zach Merrett’s future at the club, with Matthew Richardson saying it’s still a possibility he pushes for the exit again next off-season.

“I just feel like it’s going to rear its head again at the end of this year,” Richardson said on 3AW Football.

“If they’re not winning and they can’t turn it around in this season, I just feel like Merrett is probably going to want to move on again.”
