The sudden sacking of Melbourne CEO Paul Guerra has been one of the biggest shocks in the footy world this year, with Demons players, staff and supporters blindsided by the decision.

3AW Breakfast co-host and former Melbourne board member, Russel Howcroft, had his say on the decision and spoke about his personal experience on the club’s board.

“The board lost confidence and that’s all they’re saying,” Howcroft said.

Guerra has been left “puzzled” by the decision by the board, and is seeking legal advice.
