Jack Silvagni has said he feels sorry for his former teammates and supporters as Carlton went down to St Kilda at Marvel Stadium.

Silvagni and other new recruit Tom De Koning had the last laugh over the Blues, winning by 39 points, but the long-time Carlton fan says it’s hard to see the side continue its downward spiral.

“Yeah, I do feel sorry for them,” Silvagni said on 3AW Football

“I’ve been in a similar position before, and I’ve also sat on the other side as a supporter, so I can empathise with all sides of it.”
