Tony Shaw has revealed that he rang Scott Pendlebury after his comments on the legend’s gold number were the hot topic of debate.

Shaw believes the comments were blown out of proportion, but it was all class from Pendlebury, who ties the V/AFL game record this evening against Geelong at the MCG.

“The main man was Scotty, and I rang him,” Shaw said on 3AW Football
