Many assistant coaches around the competition will be approached by Carlton as part of their search for a new coach in the next few months.

St Kilda Head of Gameplan and Strategy Corey Enright looks likely to be one of the top candidates for the job, and Saints CEO Carl Dilena was asked about the situation.

“We’ve got quality assistant coaches, and if they’ve got an opportunity to be a senior coach, you’re not going to stand in their way.”
