James Hird putting his hand up to coach Essendon again has raised questions around whether the club has already decided to move forward with him.

Despite widespread belief that Hird will make a return as coach of the Bombers, Caroline Wilson isn’t convinced.

“I don’t believe that the club will go down that road,”  Wilson said on 3AW Football.
