There is serious concern for Melbourne forward Brody Mihocek after he was stretchered off the MCG on King’s Birthday.

Mihocek was driven to the ground by Collingwood defender Billy Frampton, resulting in an extended delay during the second quarter of the game.

Dr Peter Larkins told 3AW Football during the game that there were positive initial signs following the incident.

“It’s good to see (Mihocek) moving and communicating (with the doctors),” he said.
