Leigh Matthews believes Luke Jackson and Brodie Grundy should be the All-Australian ruckmen for 2026 ahead of Max Gawn.

Matthews says the ruck role now is incorporated as a midfielder and needs to put up large numbers to be picked.

“I wouldn’t have thought they’d have all three rucks of Gawn, Grundy and Jackson,” Matthews said on 3AW Football.
