It has been revealed that star Brisbane midfielder Lachie Neale will catch up with former coach and current St Kilda coach Ross Lyon for dinner following the Lions’ clash against the Cats.

Questions have been raised around his age, but Joel Selwood thinks Neale would be a fantastic acquisition for any club.

“You can’t have enough of those people within the walls of your footy club,” Selwood said on Sports Today.

“I would that he would be very confident that he’ll get those three years at a high standard too.”
